Her preschool is a beautiful symphony of free play, creativity, artistic exploration, and educational prep for Kindergarten. She has a calm and very nurturing presence about her that I think kids gravitate to and feel safe with, but she also demands control in her class and does a beautiful job of implementing her rules and regulation. I love her willingness to do evaluations, send home books to get them reading, offer monthly optional homework, and any other support you wish or need to have. Her gradations are 2nd to NONE! They are simple and meaningful. The binders she gives at the end for each kid are absolutely priceless!!! I feel so blessed to have had 2 of my 4 kids go through her preschool. "I had heard so many great things about Shay, and her preschool Bright Beginnings from neighbors and friends. I’m so glad I listened to them, my daughter Eden went for 2 years, and had a great experience, she wasn’t the greatest talker when she started but Shay was so supportive and Eden caught right on, and was able to learn all of her letter counting and more even with the interruption of Covid during my daughters last year. 

Our experience was so great that we decided to have our son also attend Bright beginnings when he turned 4 and as always loved Shay and Mrs Kami so much, he still talks about how much he misses it there. Such kind and supportive teachers, my shy boy was very tender hearted, got overwhelmed easily and by the time we reached the preschool graduation was suddenly the class clown.
